This "Juvizy" model, which inherits the design of the "Nîmes" model created for the 1867 Exposition, is a rare series with a limited number of existing pieces, featuring a newly designed cut for the base. While the shape of the bowl and stem are the same as Nîmes, the new cut on the base creates a delicate change in the overall impression. The difference in the base cut brings a different expression to each piece. The cuts on the thick crystal change their appearance each time they catch the light, and the shadows shift depending on the viewing angle. It can be used not only for champagne but also as a vessel for nuts and small sweets, and the heavy crystal adds a touch of quality to everyday moments.
