The S2000 is a FR sports car developed to commemorate Honda's 50th anniversary. The car name, reminiscent of the classic S series, the open body, the engine that revved effortlessly to nearly 9000 rpm, and the FR drive were all different from other Honda cars of the time. Released in 1999, it was sold until 2009, undergoing several minor changes such as interior and exterior modifications and engine displacement increases. Due to its unique character, it has maintained high popularity even after production ended.
