This is a five-tiered wooden Kaiseki (traditional Japanese meal) stacking box with a persimmon-colored lacquer finish. I believe it is unused, but due to long-term storage, I'm listing it as "near mint." There are no noticeable scratches or cracks. The original box shows minor scuffs and stains due to age.
