There's nothing particularly concerning, but if I had to say, the preparation is solid. The blade is long, so it can still be used for a long time. I've cleaned it to remove dirt, and it's an old base, so it's less prone to warping. Even new ones can have rust on the blade if they're old, and in severe cases, it can seize up and the blade won't come out. This one had some rust as well, so I've removed the dirt and wiped it with oil, so please rest assured on that point. Please refrain from price negotiations, except for bulk purchases.
