Antique plate from Gien, France. The design and relief are lovely, and the deep green color gives it a French chic feel. It appears to have been used as a dinner plate, but cutlery marks are only visible when held up to the light. There is a small chip on one of the corners on the back (photo 6). There is a small stain on the inside (photo 7). There are stains on the foot and the edge as seen from the back (photos 2, 4, 5). I think it can be used for appetizers, baked desserts, or decorated cakes. Size: Approximately 27 cm (inside diameter approximately 19 cm) This is a very popular plate that I purchased at a flea market.
