The operation panel still has the protective sheet on it! The "ME-8B" was released as a successor to the "ME-6B," which was released in the early 1990s. The ME-6B was used by artists such as Stuart Zender of Jamiroquai and Seiji Kameda of Tokyo Jihen. The "ME-8B" is a model that updated various parts of the ME-6B. The ME-8B is a pedal used by professional bassists, including MASAKI. Unlike the recent trend of smaller multi-effects processors, this size is one of its advantages in terms of ease of use. The switching pedals are neatly arranged, allowing for firm stepping and switching. It includes 23 types of effects, from basic effects to "Humanizer" (simulating human voices), "Synth Bass," and sounds that simulate the unique tones and resonance of fretless bass. Up to 13 effects can be used simultaneously during performance. In addition, effect settings can be stored as 32 patches.
