This is a commemorative medal from the American Embassy in Tokyo. The obverse features the bald eagle emblem with the words "United States of America." The reverse depicts Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms, the flags of the United States and Japan, and the words "American Embassy, Tokyo, Japan." It is approximately 40mm in diameter and 4mm thick. It comes in a circular plastic case (as shown in the photo). It is a new, unused item. It was taken out of the outer bag for the photos, but it has not been removed from the plastic case.
