I'm knitting these socks as faithfully as possible to the design by Rokugo Inotani. The entire sock is knitted with three strands of fingering weight wool yarn (100% wool) held together. For the toes, I've added extra-fine angora yarn, using four strands held together. For the heel, I've added one strand of fingering weight yarn, also using four strands held together. This is to make them durable and provide good cushioning. I've knitted them carefully with good quality yarn, but this is a hobby project. They are not perfect. At the ankle, I've decreased and increased stitches to make the socks fit snugly. They are knitted with 100% wool. Hand washing in lukewarm water is recommended. Thank you for looking.
