I purchased this item, washed it, and then stored it. Upon inspection, I didn't find any stains or fraying, but please understand that this is a used item that has been stored at home. Also, please note that it will be shipped in a compact form. I think it's a good deal, as it sells for 6500-7500 yen on Rakuten Ichiba. It's cute enough to be used as a blanket, and the material on the front is fluffy.
