There are no noticeable scratches, but there was caulking in the gap between the main body. Some traces of the caulking remain, but I have left them as is. If you are concerned, please deal with it after purchase. It won't be noticeable once installed and used. I removed it after confirming its operation. It was used for about a year. The color is painted to the manufacturer's genuine black color. It has a switch, so you can return it to the original state by pressing it. More details are still available on the AVEST website.
