Most of the Xabungle cels feature simplified, simple-lined mecha drawings, but this one has thick, dynamic mecha drawings, similar to the illustrations on the Imai model kits. The Walker Gallier's mecha design is a valuable collaboration between three people: Yoshiyuki Tomino (original concept), Kunio Okawara (mecha design), and Tomonori Kogawa (cleanup). (It ended up resembling the Combat Armor from "Fang of the Sun Dougram," which was being produced at Sunrise at the same time, so it went through the hands of all three for the final design.)
