There are some minor, inconspicuous damages around the bridge (see photos), but I think it's not a concern. There are only strumming scratches from the lack of a pickguard, but it's otherwise clean. To lower the string height, I don't simply "shave the saddle to its limit." I adjust from the saddle nut and bridge height. To maintain sustain, I secure a saddle height of 2mm for the 6th string and 1.5mm for the 1st string. An easy-to-play guitar is most important for the string height at the low frets. Adjusting the string height at the 1st fret to 0.35-0.45mm. Sore fingers are also undesirable! The main reason for not being able to hold down the F chord is because the string height at the 1st fret is too high. It seems that many guitars have unadjusted nut heights.
