A Newtype-use mobile armor developed by Neo Zeon, led by Char Aznable. Model number: NZ-222. This machine was prototyped around the same time as the Sazabi. After the failure of miniaturizing the psycommu system in the Geara Doga Psycommu Test Type, the design focused on enlarging the mobile suit while retaining the psycommu functions. Later, with the completion of the Sazabi, this machine's design was altered and further enlarged, leading to the development of the α-Azier as an assault mobile armor. Therefore, this machine can be considered a prototype of the α-Azier. The Psycho Doga incorporates weaponry that foreshadows the α-Azier, such as the six funnels equipped on the rear skirt and the wired psycommu beam cannons on both shoulders. It also has manipulators similar to mobile suits (and in some works, it is equipped with beam sabers for close combat), suggesting that the machine's versatility was higher compared to the α-Azier.
