The warp threads are made from original, tightly twisted, uneven yarns rope-dyed with a special method that blends indigo dye and natural indigo. The weft threads use unique uneven yarns that are a small mix of our own "Samurai Cotton," dyed in a cherry blossom color with a special dye extracted from cherry blossoms. The rich color of Ai Plus denim combined with the subtle pink-beige cherry blossom color creates a very beautiful appearance. Because of the rope dyeing, you can expect intense fading like indigo denim, but you can enjoy a more gradual change compared to the standard Samurai indigo denim. The selvedge also uses Ai Plus warp threads, and the color change of the selvedge thread is also something to look forward to.
