Hello, good evening. Thank you for looking! This is the RM-D19 remote control for MITSUBISHI DVD/VHS recorders. I don't have a machine that can receive the signal, so I can't confirm whether any signals are being sent, let alone whether all the buttons work. Also, since it's an old item, I won't be checking it with a smartphone. As for cleaning, I've only wiped it down briefly with a wet wipe. I haven't gone to the trouble of cleaning the gaps between the buttons, etc. Please research the compatible models yourself. This is a junk item, and I will not accept returns or refunds for any reason, including if it's not compatible. Please purchase only if you can accept anything that might happen, as it is junk. As you can see in the photos, there is discoloration. The battery compartment was clean. I plan to wrap it once in bubble wrap and send it in a plastic bag with a Yu-Packet Post sticker.
