Ammolite is a fossil gemstone miraculously formed when ammonites that lived in the Cretaceous period (65 to 135 million years ago) fossilized, forming an iridescent nacreous layer on the surface. As you can see in the photos, each piece has a different expression and shines in various colors like black opal depending on the viewing angle. As you can see, a strong play-of-color effect can be observed. No doublet or triplet processing is done, and only surface coating is applied to protect the easily scratched iridescent aragonite layer. This is the most natural minimal processing, taking advantage of the original beauty of the material. Original design silver 925 bail is used.
