I made a smartphone shoulder bag with a patchwork design using Kikko Aiki cotton. It's hard to tell from the image, but the fabric has a very tasteful texture. There's a pocket on the back with the same design, so you can use either side as the front. To prevent the shape from collapsing, I've sandwiched quilt batting and interfacing.
