It was founded in 1824, celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. This is a cup & saucer in a calm, elegant navy blue color, with bouquets and garlands painted in navy blue and matte gold. What I find particularly lovely is the inside of the cup; items with delicate painting in such places are expensive, but they are truly satisfying to look at. The back has a description indicating that it is hand-painted. (The blue text indicates this.) There are no cracks, chips, or crazing. The gold trim is beautiful. It is in very good condition, but it is a used item. (This is a personal inspection.) Please refrain from individual price reductions.
