The JA Kyosai Elementary and Junior High School Calligraphy Competition (Reiwa 7) assignments have been released, so I wrote a model. This is the model for second graders, "Mebae" (Sprouts). Calligraphy is an assignment every summer vacation. How about using it for practice at home? I have 47 years of calligraphy experience, and this is my 15th year running a classroom. I have been involved with brush and pen calligraphy for many years, from my student days until now, when I teach students. My students have won many awards! Be sure to practice with the model, making vertical and horizontal folds as shown, so that the lines are clear. The model is written in vermilion ink, not a copy.
