This is a wide-border knit from Mackintosh Philosophy, made of 50% wool, 40% acrylic, and 10% alpaca. The alpaca blend gives it a soft and warm feel, perfect for the coming season. I purchased it at Kyoto Isetan a few years ago for approximately 18,000 yen. The size is 38, and the actual measurements (flat lay) are: total length 62.5cm, shoulder width 39cm, chest 100cm, sleeve length 60cm (please forgive any errors due to amateur measurements). I wore it only on holidays as part of a rotation among my many knitwear pieces. I've worn it about 4-5 times, and there are no noticeable stains or dirt. It has also been cleaned, so you can wear it immediately after purchase. I found this knit when I was looking for a moderately casual knit that would go well with denim and that adults could wear, as I have many single-color knits. According to the shop staff, it's part of a series that expands on the popular multi-color knits from every season. It caught my eye the moment I entered the store, and after trying it on, my wife and daughter highly recommended it, so I bought it on the spot. The off-white base gives it a very gentle and soft atmosphere, and the thick border of beautiful blue-green (peacock green?) → yellow-green → off-white, which you don't find in mass-produced items, gives it a moderately casual feel. I love that it perfectly fits the theme of "adult casual" (I apologize that the colors appear darker than they are in the photos, no matter how many times I retook them, but the color in the 8th photo is the closest to the actual color). The soft tension of the ribbed hem might be one reason why it doesn't look childish, as it falls nicely around the waist without bunching up. Also, it goes well not only with denim but also with gray slacks. When I combine this knit with gray slacks and a tailored coat, it looks very elegant, so I used to wear it to my daughter's concerts.
