A French double-breasted coat from the 1930s, or perhaps even earlier. It has a very rare design. It features details typical of older garments, such as blind stitching, pivot sleeves, zigzag stitching on the collar lining, and very unusual pockets placed higher up. The lining appears to be a black-like chambray fabric. The details are superb. The material is cotton, a slightly thick and sturdy fabric. There are some areas with wear and tear, but they are not critical. There are also stains and dirt. There are also some loose stitches and fraying in the buttonholes. It's difficult to mention everything, so I've only included images of the major areas. It's at a level that doesn't affect wear, and those accustomed to vintage clothing will likely find it acceptable.
