This is an old piece, but because it's hand-woven, it's supple and soft, and feels light for a fukuro obi (formal obi). This fukuro obi features a gold foil ground with delicate peony embroidery. It's possible that no one makes such intricately hand-embroidered fukuro obi anymore. Being old, there are some inconspicuous signs of wear and tear, but the quality is excellent, and I'd like to pass it on to someone who will wear it. The photos are taken to show the colors as close to the actual item as possible. The color can look very different depending on the light. Please understand this before purchasing.
