I've decided to sell it because I have too many similar cup & saucer sets. The color is not pure black, but closer to a sumi ink color. The relief on the edges of the cup and saucer, combined with this sumi ink color, creates a calm, sophisticated atmosphere, I think. There are no cracks or chips, and it is in beautiful condition. The sheen on the surface of the saucer is original to the product and is not a stain. Please consider purchasing if you understand the above condition.
