I bought this 20 years ago and used it for cooking rice, stews, simmered dishes, and as a substitute for a donabe (earthenware pot) for winter hot pots and oden. However, in recent years, I've only used it once a year for New Year's dishes. This pot has been with me since I got married, and I have many fond memories of using it. I've taken good care of it, polishing it over the years. As time has passed and I've gotten older, I've found myself using smaller pots more frequently, so I'd like to pass it on to someone who will use it. There is some discoloration and rust, and it shows signs of use. Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing. I will put it in a plastic bag and then in a cardboard box for shipping.
