The microfleece material, made from recycled plastic bottles, is lightweight, thick, and soft to the touch. It effectively traps dead air, keeping the inside of the garment at a comfortable temperature, and the drawcord at the hem can be tightened to further increase airtightness. Designed for use as an outer layer, the hood and shoulders are insulated with PrimaLoft® to prevent body heat from escaping from the head and neck. The shoulders, which are prone to friction from a pack, are reinforced with recycled nylon fabric. It also features an electrostatic care design to suppress the generation of static electricity.
