Her hair is still original and in good condition for a doll of this type, as it was protected by her hat. The downsides are the signs of aging on her face and body (dirt, damage, etc.). I repainted her face because the gesso was peeling off in places, but the roughness and dirt of the underlying skin remain. I only cleaned the body. Her legs are a dusky skin tone. There is peeling gesso on the tip of her left foot. There is also a very shallow crack on the side of her foot, at the paint level. In addition, as this is an antique, I cannot fully describe all the minor signs of aging. Please check the photos for the condition. Feel free to ask any questions. The pull string had deteriorated, and the parts were almost completely separated, so I restrung her with new elastic. The fasteners for the elastic were also broken, so I replaced them with new screws. The dress was made from leftover crepe fabric I received. It has a lot of gathers, so the hem opens wide like a flower petal. The bonnet is also handmade. I sewed together meisen fabric inside and out and sewed lace around the edges. The orange string matches the pattern of the dress. Her belly squeaks cheerfully, which is somehow encouraging. I don't recommend her to those who are not used to old dolls. For those who can accept the charm of time and cherish her. To prevent the eye mechanism from breaking, I will pack her head with stuffing before shipping.
