These are lovely plates in a size that seems easy to use. They have been stored in my parents' china cabinet for a long time. I believe they were a gift for a celebration... They were used a few times initially, and the gold trim is slightly faded in places. Also, I don't know when it happened, but one plate has a scratch or crack on the back. It's difficult to see in the photos, but the area around it is slightly raised. Other than that, there may be minor scratches, but I don't see any major scratches or stains, so I personally think they are still in good condition and can be used.
