This is an aluminum stockpot from Aritsugu in Kyoto (they call it a "sundon nabe"). The size is small, with a diameter of 21cm, making it the smallest in the series of aluminum stockpots that Aritsugu used to carry. The second image shows a 500ml plastic bottle for size comparison. It's a size that's easy to handle in a home kitchen, but it still has a larger capacity than a typical pot, making it suitable for cooking curries and stews, as well as boiling pasta, somen noodles, edamame, and other items in plenty of water. It doesn't show much use. While there are some maintenance marks like fine polishing scratches, there is no significant damage, and it is generally in clean condition. There is no hardened black grime, which often occurs at the joints of the handles and the pot. I think you will be able to use it for a long time to come.
