The MESA/BOOGIE "High-Wire Dual Buffer & Output Boost" combines a buffer, booster, and junction box. This dual buffer/line driver improves sound quality at both input and output. Between the instrument and pedals, it provides a pure signal to the first pedal in the effects chain, preventing tone degradation. Between the pedalboard and amplifier, it functions as a buffer and also amplifies the signal level with its built-in line driver, even when connecting long cables. It also features a fixed +3dB boost mini-toggle switch.
