1979 Aria Pro II SB-900 BASS - *Rare* Matsuki Series No. 1, Includes Original Hard Case It has come to our attention that there was an error in the dating of this Aria bass. This bass is actually a 1978 model (not 1980) and is an early model of the Matsumoku SB-900. The price remains unchanged. The earliest production year and the rarest model in the series, an outstanding passive specification with two pickups, the SB-900. The early series (circa 1977-80) adopted the so-called "Batwing" headstock shape, and the headstock decal included "The". 【Condition】 This 1978 instrument is maintained in very good condition and all parts are original. The only cosmetic flaws are the relatively typical lacquer wear at the lower end of the fretboard (not noticeable during playing) and discoloration of the original metal parts (tuners, back cover panel, etc.). The body, headstock, and neck are all in superb condition. There are no scratches worth photographing. The original brass bridge and nut are also in beautiful condition. The original Aria pickups, tuners, and controls all function perfectly, and the electrical system is smooth with no noise. All of these Aria through-neck basses are wonderfully balanced and have enough sustain to last until the next blue moon.
