It goes without saying that no one can live without "food." As Japanese society faces major changes, what should "food" be like in the future? There are many themes we must seriously address, such as food self-sufficiency, harmony with the environment, new lifestyles, consideration for health, food education, and the state of the supply chain. Thinking about "food" means thinking about the future of society and how people live. Now is the time to change what needs to be changed, protect what needs to be protected, and support new challenges, while considering the ideal form of Japanese "food" for this era.
