This item was useful for about 3 months after discharge from the hospital. Although the usage period was short, it was definitely a worthwhile item because my baby slept soundly for many hours when placed in it. I highly recommend it. There doesn't seem to be any major wear and tear, so I think it can still be used. I basically used a gauze blanket with it and didn't let my baby sleep directly on the cover, but there may be some slight stains from use. I have also cleaned it at home several times.
