This is a set of three bottom caps, likely from a Martin Imperial. The lacquer remains at 90%, and considering the age, the condition is good. The diagonal non-slip design has a vintage feel and is quite stylish. I've included a photo of it attached to the original lacquer of a 1946 Committee. Although the lacquer color is slightly darker, it blends in well without any noticeable difference. When I acquired a Committee in the past, the cap was distorted with pliers. I was always worried about stripping the screws, so I searched for other bottom caps, but they were hard to find... As a temporary solution, I obtained these from an overseas collector and used them for a while. They fit all the casings of vintage Martin instruments up to the early 1960s. They are heavier than the caps on instruments like the Committee, so they are also recommended for those seeking a change. I've seen these caps on those hard-to-sell "Frankenstein" Committees, haha. Items like these rarely come up for sale, so if you own a Committee, what do you think? You can't undo it if you strip the screws.
