I've been searching online for these dolls since I got one, and I bought them about 15 years ago through overseas mail order. I've also used import agents. The packaging is damaged, with folds, cloudiness, and deterioration. The bottom of the box is particularly discolored. Some dolls came with packaging, and some didn't. I was obsessed with this baby doll series for about 4-5 years. I only displayed a few of the dolls; the others were stored as they arrived. I've selected "Bisque doll," but they are not bisque dolls. I believe I was told they are made of a hard material like PVC, made to look like bisque. There is a smell of the material. Personally, I got used to it. When they come from overseas, they are usually wrapped in thin plastic. For this series, I pack the dolls only by wrapping them in new bubble wrap, as shown in the photos (one doll packed). This is the image of how similar items are shipped. It may vary slightly. I will either attach the Mercari shipping label directly to the bubble wrap or ship them in a paper or plastic shipping bag, as there are two dolls.
