This is a display item from a shop owned by an acquaintance. I received it. As it was a display item, there are a few scuff marks on the black painted base and the top front frame. They are not very noticeable. You wouldn't notice them unless you looked closely. It's a wooden, black-lacquered glass case with a front opening. The front door is beveled glass. The back features a painting of cherry blossoms on washi paper. There's a red and black lacquered stand on top of a gold-leafed base, and a battledore is placed on top of that. The battledore has an auspicious pattern of pine and wisteria flowers on a red background. The hairpin is made of genuine boxwood, and the wisteria flowers sway beautifully.
