They are finished with great care, allowing for comfortable playing. They are slightly thin, but the thickness is designed to fit any hichiriki, including those with plastic tubes. They are finished so that even beginners and women can easily produce a sound. However, please be aware that they will not sound with a light breath. To produce a good sound, you must put a good amount of breath into it. The price of one reed is a bit high, but I am confident that you will be satisfied, so please try one.
