PANDA-Z is a character conceived by the popular designer Shuichi Oshida, and is a character from the robot anime "PANDA-Z THE ROBONIMATION," which is a parody of "Mazinger Z" officially approved by Dynamic Planning. The anime "PANDA-Z THE ROBONIMATION" was broadcast on Kids Station from April 2004. The "PANDA-Z Mini Figure Collection" series, released in February 2004, was a big hit, with a cumulative sales of 1.3 million units by September of the same year. Some of the products are now out of print and have become rare items.
