Please understand that paper products may have age-related changes, yellowing, dirt, and damage before purchasing. ------ "Rolling Thunder" is the first solo album by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. At the time of "Rolling Thunder's" production, Hart had temporarily left the Grateful Dead, but in addition to Dead members, other prominent musicians active in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene participated in the album. Zakir Hussain, a classical tabla player, and his father Alla Rakha also participated. The album includes early versions of two songs co-written with Bob Weir, "Playing in the Band" and "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (titled "Pump Song" on this album), which later became staples of Grateful Dead concerts.
