Terui Seisakusho began in the late Meiji era in Rokumachi, Morioka City (present-day Sakana-machi) as a tea and inn business. Along with the sale of tea, they began handling tea utensils, and also had an iron kettle factory next door. Later, the factory moved to Esashi Koji (present-day Minami-Odori), and in the 1950s, it moved along with the opening of the handmade village, along with other workshops in Morioka City. Unfortunately, Terukodo (Terui Seisakusho) closed in 2008, and new, unused items have become rare. Please forgive any slight errors as this is amateur measurement. This is a single item of a Showa-era, unused, tagged Nanbu Terukodo 18-type (1.5 liters). The condition of the product, inside and out, is very good. (See each image) It is considered a valuable single item. This product has been treated with the traditional yakinuki (burning) oxidation film process. Iron supplementation, etc., can be used without any problems. The forging-made mokko handle is fixed, and the attachment is secure.
