■DETAILS This piece is modeled after a 1960s French vintage medical shirt and a Czech military pullover shirt. Fine gathers are incorporated into the yoke to create natural wrinkles and a voluminous silhouette. A hidden placket with shell buttons is used on the overlapping part of the collar to allow the collar to naturally roll back. ■MATERIAL The fabric is woven with a 20D silk warp and a 1/48 wool worsted weft in an uneven amunzen weave. The dyeing process takes advantage of silk's higher dye penetration compared to wool, creating natural color variations between the wool and silk, resulting in a deep, nuanced color.
