When my child was a newborn, they weren't drinking milk well and were constipated (once every 3-4 days), which was a problem. I tried various Japanese milk formulas, but they didn't improve... I was worried. In the midst of this, I consulted with a senior couple, and they gave me a can and said, "Try this!" I tried giving it to my child, and their milk intake improved remarkably, and their constipation (once a day) was completely resolved. Since my child was small, I wanted to increase their food intake when they were a newborn, so switching to this improved their milk intake, and I saw visible improvements every time I had their weight checked. Also, constipation made them cranky, and their stomach would get bloated, which prevented them from drinking milk, but that was also resolved. It might just have been a good fit for my child, but this milk really helped us. (It's a bit expensive...) We switched to a more reasonably priced Japanese milk formula after about six months, but until then, it really helped us.
