This album is her first lead album, recorded in 1957, just before she became famous as an actress, on the minor label Kem, with an orchestra arranged and conducted by Dean Elliott. Her singing voice perfectly matches the atmosphere of the excellent jacket photo, which is based on a pale blue color, and it's captivating. The vocals, with a light echo, make you feel like you're listening to an album by a beautiful singer of yesteryear. She sings in a whisper, sweetly and intimately.
