This is a snare mute made of genuine leather. It uses cowhide (Italian leather and Himeji leather) and horsehide (clip part). It was made with snares in mind, but can also be used on toms. Width is about 5 cm. The mute width is 1.5 inches (about 3.8 cm). Thickness is about 6-7 mm. The selling point of leather mutes is their natural sound.
