These are carved shogi pieces made of boxwood. I participate in the Kansai Komano-kai (Shogi Piece Association) and made everything myself, from the piece blanks. As these are amateur-made, there are some imperfections. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection. Also, this work has stains on the wood.
