Etchu Toyama Genuine Wakyo (Japanese bowed lute) Owara Kokyu (Kokyu from Owara) - Rosewood and Karin wood, with bamboo bow and horsehair, 3-bow case, and accessories. This is a genuine Owara Kokyu purchased from a workshop in Etchu Toyama, the same type used in the Owara Kaze no Bon festival. I remember purchasing various accessories, and it cost around 300,000 yen. The neck is rosewood, and the body is karin wood, with a beautiful wood grain that catches the eye. I used it for lessons with a Kokyu teacher from the Geidai (Tokyo University of the Arts) once every two weeks. This continued for about three years. I have used and stored it with care, so I believe there are no scratches or cracks on the Kokyu itself. Three bows with horsehair and one bow only are included. These are consumable items, so some areas of the strings are frayed, but overall, they are of good quality. Various bridges are included, such as those for Bon Uta (Bon Festival songs), Kouta (short songs), and Minyo (folk songs), with different heights.
