Devices that charge via USB Type-C, such as smartphones and USB PD (Power Delivery) compatible laptops, experience far more frequent plugging and unplugging of charging cables compared to connecting and disconnecting devices to a desktop PC's USB Type-C port. Furthermore, laptops also involve plugging and unplugging external storage and other devices in addition to charging. USB Type-C connectors, which are reversible and easy to plug in, lead to more frequent disconnections and, consequently, more careless handling. This can result in a loose hold of the connector when plugged in, or even small scratches around the terminals depending on the cable's connector. By using this connector, cable connections are made via magnetic force, eliminating the risk of damaging the device's USB Type-C connector and its surroundings.
