This is a Masamoto yanagiba knife. The blade length is approximately 29.5cm. The steel type is unknown, but it's probably Shirogami (white steel). The handle is made of black water buffalo horn. The rust and scratches have been repaired and mirror-polished. Some minor scratches and rust marks remain, but it's in a beautiful condition. Small chips were present, but they have been mostly removed. There was a chip on the end of the handle, which has been smoothly repaired. If you don't mind, I recommend it. With a blade length of 29.5cm, this yanagiba has ample length and is in beautiful condition, so you can use it for a long time. Both the cutting edge and the flat surface are almost mirror-polished. It's also lightweight, making it highly recommended for professionals and general households alike. The sharpening was finished with Kitayama 8000 grit, Shapton 12000 grit, and a natural whetstone.
