This is a long undergarment (nagajuban) made of red fabric with a fine diamond pattern and large white floral design. I think it has a gorgeous yet elegant design. Single-layered (hitoe) It has a lining at the hem and large shoulder pads, making it look like a lined garment (awase). Please allow for some error. Hand-sewn. The fabric has a soft and smooth texture. I cannot say for sure as there is no material listed, but I believe it is silk (shoken). Condition: The fabric has been removed around the waist to lengthen the garment. There are no noticeable stains or tears, but there are small stains on the collar (images 6 and 7) and a few areas where the red color has faded slightly.
