Regarding the "reason for being a bargain": At the time, many children came to play at my house, and I marked the soles of the feet to avoid mix-ups. When I went to sell it, I tried to erase them, but they wouldn't come off (+_+). That's the reason (^_^;). Since it's on the soles of the feet, it shouldn't affect playing with or displaying it. I loved this at the time and played with it often, but since children "play" with toys, some color fading and deterioration is inevitable.
