I haven't done a long-term test, but after charging for an hour, the display didn't immediately disappear even after an hour in the dark. The display then turned off. The lifespan of the capacitor is unknown. Button operation is not a problem. Rare vintage item. It's old, so it's junk. The watch band is a new, unused aftermarket product. Body only.
